I posted a few pictures that I took at Asheville after surving the storm. I am now in Amsterdam awaiting plane home to Wales. I haven’t had a wash in 6 days. First meal was on the plane last night. I managed to get a lift from Asheville to Atlanta. I would like to thank the highway patrol, police and rangers that were staying at the Hilton for offering to share your food and for being amazing responders. To Matthew the driver, Mo, Cassidy Gould and all the staff DoubleTree by Hilton Asheville Downtown for looking after me and for keeping me sane and alive. I have met amazing strangers over the past few days. I never made it as a bridesmaid at the Biltmore and I am yet to find out if the couple ever got married. I am leaving you with these pictures that I also took. I recorded a video diary too and will be sharing on youtube when home. My heart goes out to all affected and thank you for embracing me into your lives.
