Rain 🌧/drizzle will clear this morning (Tuesday), and we look to see some sunshine at times, with the odd shower, although feeling a little cooler with temps around mid to high teens.

Just an observation 🤓 and it might be boring for some ...

Just going through some charts, to see what we have the following week, with that high pressure that's nudging in at times this week.

The ECM and gfs are showing the high preasure established well enough to block off the the Atlantic (low pressure)...But look where the ECM chucks it,🧐 (first two charts) that's a Scandinavian block right there, and if that does develop, then it's typically hard to shift and will set up winds from an easterly direction...if only it was winter ❄️🥶❄️.

Whats aslo interesting, is that were going to be tapping into October not long after this and we should be favouring the opposite apparently .*El nino *
Could we see the 1997 El Nino affect of a dry autumn 🍂 possibly.

Anyway I'm finding it interesting and will be updating at times this week and see what we have. I wouldn't mind a blocked pattern in October.

Little update for Sunday.

So cloud and drizzle as expected, but further west looks to be favoured for drier weather.

This unfortunately is still forecast for most of today, on and off, especially north of the SW.

Max temps 18-20 degrees

Next week's high preasure, still on hold.

It feels like we're just kicking the can down the road, but models have backed away again for now, for high preasure to become centered over the UK and we're back to what we've had this week.

So the high trys and and falls away next week, but it will keep the bulk of the lows at bay like its done this week, so it won't be wash out, with some dry days inbetween as it moves about, and the centre of the fronts will be to the North of us.

Models still hinting that the high preasure will win the battle into the following week, but like I've mentioned, it's kicking the can down the road. So we're wait until Wednesday and see what we have.

El Nino..
Another week or two and we can see if we start seeing the affects of EL Nino, as models will start going into October. Be interesting to see if things go to plan from the Met Offfice predictions of a conveyor belt of lows to hit the UK for autumn and the beginning of winter.

We should start seeing the affects from October onwards. Just bare in mind that the jet stream can buckle /ripple...if it ripples in the right place,.we could sit under or over the jet, and this would have the opposite effect of what's been predicted 🤔..we wait and see..

Weekend Weather.

It should remain largely dry for Saturday day time, we do see a weak front on the north coast, push in with drizzle, from around 4-5 pm onwards and this will continue into the evening and over night.
I suspect most places will see some drizzle at times but the North of SW looks to see consistency.

Temps around 20 degrees.

Sunday, looks to see the drizzle continue for most of the day, and it's looking at little more widespread, so most of the SW will see patchy drizzle at times, but some places will do better than others.

Alot of cloud around today, so not much in the way of sunshine.

Some patchy drizzle around in places and we will see something a bit more organised from around 3pm onwards, from the west, and this will push east into the evening for all across the SW.

Max temps around 17 degrees

Wednesday.

Some showers around this morning, but they should clear through the morning with isoalted showers and sunny spells.

It does looks as though, we will see cloud build up into the afternoon, from around 3 ish from the west with the rain and drizzle. This will push further east as we progress into the afternoon and evening. I'll.check the radar later and see. As the Aprege chart is showing it, but the ukv model isn't, but the Aprege does handle picking up low cloud drizzle better.
