There’s something I find incredibly difficult as a photographer: being in front of the camera instead of behind it.
I’m the woman behind InMyEyes Photography — a mum to two beautiful boys, a happy wife, and someone who feels incredibly lucky to have created a space where I can truly be myself and fulfil my passion behind the lens. 🤍

For a long time, showing my face and photographing myself felt uncomfortable. I’m much more confident capturing other people’s stories, emotions and personalities than sharing my own.

But I want to change that.

I want to be a part of the community I’ve created as a photographer. I want you to get to know the person behind the camera, not just the work I create. I want to share little pieces of my everyday life in the studio — the behind-the-scenes moments, the messy ones, the beautiful ones, and everything in between.

So here I am, stepping out from behind the lens and letting you see me. ✨

Let's talk about dreams coming true.

For years, one of my biggest photography dreams was to capture a Slavic beauty surrounded by a sea of poppies. It's not exactly easy in Yorkshire. Finding a poppy field here is almost a miracle, and with the constantly changing weather, bringing all the right elements together can feel impossible.

But I finally did it.

For a moment, I managed to capture a little piece of Poland here in the UK. Nothing reminds me of Poland more than fields of red poppies. I don't even know if the poppy is officially Poland's national flower, but for me, it certainly is.

This photo is the result of patience, persistence, and a dream that took years to fulfil.
