Yesterday we left the Dordogne and drove 360km to Chinon in the Loire Valley, stopping off at this tragic village where 642, men, women and children were murdered by Waffen-SS in an act of retribution for French resistance activity in the area. The village has been left for visitors to see and reflect on the tragic events of 10th June 1944.

Rocamadour was our first stop today. A wander around the streets and then the highlight of the day was visiting Gouffre De Padirac caves, a very long drop in the lift and a boat trip at the bottom, made it worthwhile, just amazing 🇫🇷
