Tom & Niamh’s beautiful wedding at The Green House Hotel in Bournemouth 🤍

Last Saturday, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Tom & Niamh’s wedding at The Green House Hotel, one of Bournemouth’s gorgeous wedding venues in Dorset.

The weather was doing its usual British thing — on, off, sunshine, rain and everything in between — but it didn’t kill the vibe. If anything, it made it better.

And that’s exactly how I think you should embrace your wedding day.

There’s no point worrying about whether the weather is perfect. Your wedding day isn’t about having blue skies every minute; it’s about being present, having fun, laughing with your favourite people and making memories you’ll actually want to remember.

Tom & Niamh completely embraced that attitude, and as an international wedding photographer, those are the weddings I love photographing most.

The changing weather gave us so many opportunities for natural, atmospheric wedding photographs — from beautiful portraits around The Green House Hotel to those in-between moments, big laughs, spontaneous moments and all the little bits of fun that made their day uniquely theirs.

And there was plenty of fun to be had, including mini golf from Garbanzo’s, beautiful flowers by Kirsty Jeffries and an incredible cake from Madalina’s Cakes.

For me, wedding photography is about more than simply taking beautiful photographs. It’s about capturing how your wedding day actually felt — the weather, the laughter, the nerves, the chaos, the people you love and all those moments you didn’t even realise were happening.

The coolest thing at a wedding this side of the of the hemisphere!! A mobile tattoo parlour! When .studios.ltd rolled in, they set a new precedent for all weddings! thanks for my orca girls and thank you Jordan and .turner_ for this epic experience

After not feeling comfortable enough to over night in Brest, as much as it would have probably been fine we trusted our gut instinct and head towards Roscoff before the ferry home, though needing the loo ment an early rise and the search for a patisserie 🥐
