Sleepy little Zach came to the studio with his lovely Mummy for his newborn session, and honestly, my heart is still melting.

I first met his Mummy almost nine years ago when I photographed her eldest boy’s baptism - and what a gift it’s been to call her a friend ever since. Watching her family grow has been the sweetest privilege.

Today, at 14 days new, Zach decided to pretend he’s never been fed in his life and kept asking for top‑ups throughout his session. This is exactly why I allow up to three hours for newborn sessions - they’re completely baby‑led, slow, calm, and always at baby’s pace. Plenty of time for feeds, cuddles, and settling. And a nice hot brew for the parents!

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY ARLO!

Arlo is officially ONE!! And I’m feeling all the emotions! Watching this little guy grow has been such an honour. I’ve photographed him from bump to baby to big personality - starting with his Mummy’s maternity session, then his newborn session at just 7 days new, his adorable Sit & Smile, and… the grand finale: his 1st birthday Cake Smash & Splash! His parents opted for The Ultimate Grow With Me package so they didn't miss a moment!

Every session has been full of joy, giggles, and the kind of moments that remind me why I love what I do. His parents have been an absolute dream - so much fun, so many laughs, and such a pleasure to work with.

Here’s to Arlo, to his first trip around the sun, and to all the memories we’ve created together.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!

For all clients coming in to the studio this week I must warn you - my hay-fever has been rife today and quite probably will be all week so when I greet you with a red nose and watery eyes, that is why 🤣

Gorgeous smiley Ivy came to the studio this morning for her 1st Birthday Cake Smash & Splash session and she could not wait to tuck in to her cake! Look at that big beaming smile!

We started her session with some lovely portrait images although she did not want to stay in one place very long! She was crawling off super fast! But that just adds to the fun for us!

We finished her session with a good old splash in the bath tub to wash away the sticky and she splashed so much she managed to cause a little river!

Little Arlo came to the studio this afternoon for some cake smash & splash fun ahead of his first birthday!

His parents mentioned they're having a Toy Story themed party for him this weekend and that they were bringing Woody, Jessie and Slinky along so I had to use this backdrop for a little nod to Toy Story. The characters appeared in some of his portrait photos before the cake came out, but for this part they wanted something more simple, so his little Arlo bear joined him for this part.

I absolutely adore welcoming my little clients back into the studio, and this morning was one of those sessions that just fills your heart. Little Sophia came in bright and early for her Sit & Smile session, and she brought her Mummy and Grandma along for the fun.

The moment she arrived, those big beautiful eyes were taking in everything - the lights, the colours, the bubbles… all with that curious sparkle babies have when the world still feels brand new. Watching her personality begin to shine through is exactly why I love these milestone sessions so much.

Her parents chose to upgrade her newborn session to the Grow With Me package, which means I get the joy of seeing her again later this year for her 1st Birthday Cake Smash & Splash. I can already picture the giggles, the frosting-covered fingers, and the splashy bath to finish it all off. These are the moments that become family treasures, and I’m so honoured to capture them.

Milestones like this remind me why I do what I do - watching these tiny humans grow, one session at a time, is pure magic. Just look at the little flash back to her newborn sneak peek!

✨ Family sessions really are the gift that keeps on giving ✨

This gorgeous family popped into the studio after being gifted a Family Session for Christmas - honestly, one of the sweetest presents you can give a busy, growing family. Life moves fast, little ones grow even faster, and having photos you can look back on is priceless.

Iyla was the best big sister - helping little Hudson show off those cheeky, toothy grins and taking her bubble‑popping duties VERY seriously. (Let’s be honest… who doesn’t love popping bubbles!)

And for everyone who asks how I get little ones - and big ones - looking at the camera at the same time… let’s just say a certain cheeky monkey next to my lens deserves all the credit.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to update your family album… this is it. My diary for family sessions fills up quickly, so booking ahead is always a good idea.

Archie is turning 4!

He came by the studio this morning for his birthday portrait session and wow, did we have fun! 🎉

His yearly tradition is a big balloon celebration, and this time he he had a Marvel themed stack… we even had visits from Spiderman and The Hulk!

Choosing just one sneak‑peek was impossible, but this sweet moment of him giving his epic balloon tower a squeeze felt perfect.

I’ve had the absolute joy of photographing this little beauty for almost two years now, and watching her grow has been such a privilege. There’s something so special about clients who return again and again - I get to see their little personalities blossom, and Callie just gets cuter every time.

Today she came in for her 2nd Birthday Paint Splash session, and oh my goodness… we had the BEST time. We started with sweet portraits (yes, bubbles and the big duck made an appearance - if you know, you know!), and then it was straight into paint‑covered fun. Callie created a colourful masterpiece her Mummy will treasure forever.

Paint Splash sessions are such a magical way to celebrate turning two - messy hands, tiny painted toes, and pure joy. If you’re thinking about marking your little one’s milestone, a Paint Splash session might be perfect.
