This photo has crept up to be one of my all time favourites.

A fleeting moment, caught between post ceremony and pre confetti. A time that is often beautiful giddy chaos full of tears and shouts of joy as the couple celebrate what they had just shared together and greet people leaving the ceremony space.

This is Olivia in that time. Taking a moment to look back to where she just got married. Not long, maybe just a couple of seconds. But why I love this photo is because it feels like peace. A serene moment of contentment. Behind where this photo was taken was a long line of people ready and waiting with confetti. But there was no rush. We started the confetti when they were ready.

Your wedding is full to the brim of everything. People, emotions, love and legacy. So remember to take moments of pause. To be rooted in the present moments and to push against the narrative that you will be rushed on your wedding. Your wedding day can absolutely be a day of complete peace.

Amy & Fraser’s London Town hall wedding was an intimate and beautiful day.

They spent time together before the ceremony, closest family only in the ceremony, and a relaxed celebration with more loved ones at the pub. A wedding day that felt like them, and one they truly enjoyed. That’s what it’s all about.

I loved sharing this day with them 🤍

Hey, I’m Lucy, a UK wedding photographer, and when thinking about what to say for this little re-introduction post I kept struggling to find the right words. How to share a little bit more about me that helps you get an authentic feel of who I am. I probably can do it okay with words, but I can do it better with photos.

I absolutely love creating vision boards so I created one that shows a reflection of my own life. Less vision, more real.

The heart of my business is creating images that bring feeling so I wanted to help you get a feeling about who I am. Not just the photographer but a snapshot of my life. What I love, what I’m drawn to, what I value, and what makes me who I am. Because you shouldn’t just choose your wedding photographer solely on their photos. You’ll only have this day together as a couple once so intentionally thinking about who will be around you, from guests to suppliers, is really important. They will form so much of your wedding experience, and that is what should guide everything, your experience. So choosing a photographer is of course about whether you love their work, but also about the person behind the camera too.

And for that extra little bit more info…

After nearly a decade of photographing weddings, I still absolutely adore these days and the privilege it is to freeze that story in images that become part of a families legacy. I live in Hove with my husband and gorgeous little boy, and love capturing weddings local and far across the country. I am drawn towards highlighting the emotions and style of your day, noticing details and capturing the soul behind it all. A blended approach of a fine art documentary style, emphasising light and natural moments.

If you feel a connection to my work and to who I am, then I could be your perfect wedding photographer and I’d love to chat.

Limited spots available for Autumn/Winter of 2026 and 2027 so get in touch via my website to check if I am free for your wedding.

Creating for the joy of creating, what an absolute gift that is.

Especially when you get to do it the most stunning new glasshouse wedding venue just outside of Bath. A day of sunshine, connection and photographing beautiful designs and people.

Starting off with a few favourites from time with the gorgeous Karen and Bradley

Jess & Alex, the kind of people you want to be friends with. Let me tell you why with a little story from their day.

It was the last moments of my time with them. We were taking the sunset portraits at Brighton’s bandstand when Alex put him arms around Jess and they joked that they were posing like Jess was pregnant. At this point I was 10 weeks pregnant myself and thought I’d let them in on the secret. There was immediate shouts of joy, hugs and tears, with Jess telling me what a great mum I was going to be. For these two to share so much care towards me and excitement in that moment has always stayed in my heart.

And now, nearly two years alter, they expecting a little one, so I get to share that same celebration with them and say to Jess, you’re going to be a great mum.

These two are people who celebrate loudly and love greatly. They are the kind of people that have a member of their wedding party who served as both usher and bridesman because he has the closest relationship to both of them. The kind of people who wanted to celebrate their wedding in their hometown, where they had dreamed of living when they got together in their teenage years, because they wanted to honour their love story. They wanted to create a wedding that was infused with big celebration, quiet moments of love and a whole lot of style. Honestly my favourite kind of wedding days.

These two and their wedding was exactly what I thought it would be and more. I have loved delving back into their wedding again and have written a little blog post on my website about their day where you can see even more unshared photos.
