Sometimes, an outdoor shoot just hits differently! When your kids are a bit older, being able to capture them outside of the studio really helps let their personalities show. They can run, mess around and totally lead the session ❤️

I’ve always found it’s more common for people to come in for a maternity shoot with their first baby, but less so for any other pregnancies and I think this is SUCH a shame. Getting the older siblings involved in the shoot is such a fun way to get them excited and capture another special moment as a family. I kept telling Jess how awesome her kids were (you can tell they are a photographer’s children!!) and I’m sure this little bump will be just as awesome. Also featuring bump decorating which was so much fun!

Once little ones get to walking age, the studio isn’t the most fun place for them to be. They don’t want to sit still, they want to run around and explore. Instead, for this age I love doing outdoor shoots where we can let their personalities shine. There’s no posing at all. Pick your favourite location in Bristol and we just let them do what they want and I’ll follow with the camera! You can bring some of their favourite toys and we let them shine.
