Photos from three similar sessions. Working for the Oracle Group I visited several 'new build' sites last summer creating fresh 'case studies' for their clients. The photos were taken in Highworth which is located 6 miles north of Swindon, Poundbury in Dorchester and Chippenham.

The photo equipment used: Nikon D5 camera with my favourite lens attached: the AF-S 24-120mm f/4 G ED VR, a Nikon SB800 was also needed for some fill flash on the those bright sunny days.

Photo from a recent visit to Puriton in Somerset by Bridgwater’s MP, Sir Ashley Fox.

Openreach engineers gave the MP a closer look at how the network provider is helping boost connectivity for local residents whilst supporting the major local development of the new Agratas (EV) battery plant which will be the UK's largest.

Almost 33,000 homes and businesses in the Bridgwater constituency are now able to access faster, more reliable broadband through Openreach’s network. Further work will be taking place in the coming months to reach more homes and businesses to full fibre broadband.

Photographs from a recent CSSC Women’s Rugby Training Session at the Bristol Civil Service Sports Club, Filton Avenue. Welsh rugby player, Ffion Lewis was on hand providing plenty of advice and encouragement to the participants.

Every year, CSSC (Civil service sports council) host a rugby festival to strengthen their links with members and celebrate grassroots rugby. Last year saw the introduction of a CSSC Women’s team who took on a Royal Navy and Royal Air Force joint team.

I covered the Thornbury event for Sovereign Housing Association: the pics show Loki the Barn Owl with a few friends wearing their Floral Crowns and a 'popular' JCB with a Face Painting family. The weather was perfect. well done to the organisers!

Here's a nice happy event I'll be covering for Sovereign Housing Association in August:
Join Sovereign at its new housing development, Cleve Wood, on Wednesday 16th August, for a community family fun day. Celebrating the area’s local wildlife with a selection of free nature-themed activities, craft workshops with local businesses and live music, the public event will start from 2pm.

It all sounds like it'll be worth a visit. Let's hope the weather improves!

Helping women into the industry on Bristol's Harbourside. The recent photography session was commissioned by the Hill Group at their McArthurs Yard construction site.

The photos show a 'Women into Construction' pre-employment programme for women in Bristol, working with The Hill Group and The Guinness Partnership the programme will help to address the female imbalance in the construction workforce, which is currently just 16%.

Construction carries on around the country during these winter storms! A few photos from a recent site visit to the new Forder Valley Interchange in Plymouth, Devon. The major civil construction work is by Balfour Beatty. The project photography was for Cordek Limited, the photos show their Filcor product being used as a lightweight structural fill alternative to a more traditional material.

Here’s a sunny summer photo from a 'Jazz event' at McCarthy & Stone, Llys Isan, Llanishen, in Cardiff. Social distanced Pimms all round. The Jazz musicians were Adam Stokes and Pasquale Votino
