Sometimes it’s good to look back…
I’ve always loved this shoot so thought I’d revisit the raw files.
My editing changes depending on how I feel, and yes I know some don’t like that and neither does Instagram, but photography is art and expressing what you see.
So right now, I like the vintage look with a bit of grain.
Next week I’ll like studio lighting! Either way, Amber looks fire and we produced a photograph!

The amazing couple, awesome guest, incredible suppliers, and the venue, good god the venue!!!!! ⁣

Gemma and Ross put together and created such an amazing day! So good in fact, that the weather didn’t hamper the mood at all! Yeah we had rain but the boys got the chairs altogether after the ceremony (George the celebrant was ace!!), brought down the Pimms table and drinks wall, and they had a fab time! Then everyone moved over to marquee and everyone loved it! The decor and details were perfect and to top it off they had a thatchers truck!! Bliss! ⁣

The whole day was a blast! I didn’t want to leave! ⁣
⁣

Not sure why but the main question I get asked is “what kit do you use?”
Just want to say, it doesn’t matter if you use Nikon, Sony, Canon, Fuji etc.
The thing I would say you need to do first is learn what you are using. Understand how it works, what settings you need, how quickly adapt to changing lights, shutter speeds and ISO settings.
Dont believe the hype around Sony is best, Canon does this, Nikon does that. If you buy a good quality camera, invest in a good lens, then you will get decent shots. The manufacturers I’ve mentioned ALL make great cameras. Just learn how to use it and push it to the limit so you know what you can do.

It’s been a while! I’m back! ⁣
First post of the year and we’re going big! ⁣
This was taken a while back but life got busy and I was doing stuffs but I’m ready to shoot. ⁣
This was the first proper studio shoot I did so of course it was with Emma & Asha as they’ll put up with me figuring s**t out with lights 😅! ⁣
Went well though, had a laugh, got some shots and completed the 1975 discography. ⁣
⁣
Anyway, I’ll shut up! ⁣
