Happy Anniversary, Kirsty & Joshua 🤍

One of the things I love most about Bristol weddings is how the city becomes part of the celebration.

After their ceremony in the Lantern Room at Bristol Registry Office, we wandered down medieval Broad Street and through St Nick’s Market. Along the way they were congratulated by friends, complete strangers and even another couple who’d tied the knot there themselves.

We ended the day aboard The 6 O’Clock Gin floating bar on Welsh Back, soaking up the atmosphere before the celebrations began.

A day full of lovely little moments that couldn’t have been planned.

Happy anniversary, you two. ❤️

Confession: my social media presence is pretty terrible... 😅

I’ve had some lovely enquiries come through recently (thank you ❤️), which has been such a nice reminder that people are still finding me despite my somewhat neglected social media accounts!

One thing I’ve noticed more and more over the last few years is that many couples, families and newborn clients understandably prefer to keep their images private rather than shared online. I completely respect that (and would probably make the same choice myself), but it does make it harder to share recent work and keep my feeds updated.

Sometimes social media can create the impression that if you’re not posting regularly, you’re not working. The reality is often very different. Sometimes there simply isn’t content to share, and sometimes the moments you’re trusted to capture are meant to stay personal.

So if I’m a little quiet on here, that’s probably why.

Has anyone else noticed a shift towards being more private online in recent years?

Day Twenty Four🎄 
THRIVE

She didn’t just catch the bouquet, she owned the moment 💐

For me, thrive means showing up, sticking with things, and finding joy in the process, not just the big milestones.

This is still one of my favourite photos, from Max & Caroline’s wedding back in 2017, and it still makes me smile.

Big thanks to for the calendar challenge. It pushed me, and I’m proud of the continuity and persistence (even with the late-night posting).

More fun on Hollie & Jack’s day, captured the analogue way. A scavenger-style disposable camera hunt 📷

I love this idea. Hollie & Jack left disposable cameras on their reception tables at , inviting guests to take part in a scavenger-style photo hunt, capturing the chaos, the laughter, and all the in-between moments no one else sees. Grainy, unfiltered, and full of feeling ✨

Day Twenty Two 
THE HARDEST PART

This one took some thought.
From a couple’s point of view, the hardest part of a wedding often isn’t the planning, it’s the people who can’t be there. The empty spaces, the names mentioned in speeches, the moments that catch you off guard.

The photos here are from Jade and Tom’s wedding. Jade carried a photo of her dad in her bouquet, and they had a small shrine to him at the reception, a beautiful quiet way to include him in the day.
