Reflecting on the most incredible week

Got to premiere my dream film on a giant IMAX screen, spoke on a panel alongside the best people, caught up with friends, made lots of new ones and left feeling inspired and ready to make the next one.

Massive shoutout goes to my family - .piks - I’m so proud of everything we’ve achieved this year and I can’t wait to see what you all do next! - You can catch all their films via the On the Edge YouTube now!

So incredibly proud and excited to finally launch the film I’ve been trying to make for the last 5 years, and it finally exists! Anyone who knows me knows how relentlessly I rant about how cool pangolins are - in particular a very special individual I had the opportunity to spend time with back in 2019, named Ramfy.

After first trying to make this film in 2020 but covid stopping me from travelling, with several failed attempts and setbacks since, to say making this has been a journey is quite the understatement… I therefore want to say a massive thanks to all my friends, family and colleagues that have helped me get this over the line at last and have supported me this year. A huge shoutout and thanks must also go to & as well as my brilliant mentor for all their help, advice and support, and for challenging me to try something a little different with the film.

So many different people from around the world played a part in Ramfy’s story - from vets and donors to rehabbers and walkers - and I’m so happy we now get to welcome everyone else into our little Ramfy family too.

Premiering festival on 15th October - another pinch me moment - I hope the Ramfy story can show this incredible species in a completely new light...

Oh, and never give up on your ideas and passion projects!

The people who love pangolins, spread the word about their plight and make a significant contribution to our work with single and recurring donations. Your presence keeps us going, knowing that we are not working alone, but have an army of supporters behind us.

A day to remember not just how incredible these little creatures are, despite all the challenges thrown at them, but also to celebrate the people dedicating all their time to giving them the best chance at a wild life - where they belong.
