Sadly my exhibition in France got cancelled last year so they have been hiding away for far too long.

Rosina is a woman who can grow a beard. Like most women, she spent most of her life trying to hide her natural hair. Recently she has decided to let it grow - "for an opportunity for personal 'growth' & acceptance"...
Personally I think that's a terrible pun, but it's growing on me.

New branding. Sutle change but awesome difference.
So, I first designed my logo and branding back in 2009 when I was leaving university. I went for my full name because there were already photographers called Ben Muir, and Benjamin Muir online.
The colours Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (CMYK) were the primary colours we used to use back in the darkroom, and circles because they are sexy.
Originally, I went for PHOTOGRAPHY + FILM, because I thought 'film' would sound cool, like I was some arty filmmaker, producing film noir cinema or stunning cinematography like Wes Anderson or Alejandro González Iñárritu. Also, I thought the word 'video' sounded cheap and tacky, like all of the videos that were online at the time.
Jump forward to 2020 and a lot has changed. YouTube has exploded and you no longer need Hollywood budgets to produce the highest quality videos that people love. I'm creating beautiful wedding videos to help better capture amazing days. Practical video content for businesses and professionals who need to communicate a clear message. Engaging videos for musicians, artists, and creatives who want to share their passions.
I am now shooting all over the world, so I wanted my branding to be more international. 'Film' doesnt translate well, but 'video' - being from the Latin word vidēre, meaning “to see” - mixed with the word audio - sounds the same in Spanish, Swahili, Arabic, Japanese, and even Welsh.

10 points for anyone who can guess the languages I have used.
