Your drinks reception is one of the few parts of the day where you actually get to properly spend time with everyone you’ve invited.

So I really don’t want to be the reason you miss it.

I’ll get the group photos and the important moments, but I’m not going to disappear with you for an hour taking endless couple photos.

We’ll take a few minutes, get some amazing photos of you both, and then you can get straight back to your guests, grab a drink and actually enjoy your wedding.

Because your wedding day shouldn’t feel like a photoshoot 🤍

These are the moments I’m looking for all day. 👀

The things happening around you while you’re busy getting married.

The tears you didn’t see.
The little looks you missed.
The people watching you.
The tiny moments happening in the background.

Because when you get your photos back, I don’t just want you to remember what you saw…

I want you to see everything you missed. 🥹

That’s the magic of documentary wedding photography. ❤️

If the thought of spending your wedding day awkwardly posing in front of a camera makes you want to hide… you’re exactly who I photograph.

Couple photos with me take around 10 minutes. That’s it. No awkward posing, no forced smiles and no spending ages wondering what to do with your hands.

Family photos? Around 15 minutes on average. 👏🫶

Then you’re back to actually enjoying your wedding day.

And it’s not just me saying that…

“Liam was absolutely incredible on our wedding day, he made the whole process feel calm and enjoyable, we were able to enjoy so much more of our day because of Liam!!”

If you hate awkward wedding photos… you might like how I do things 👀

I’ve been a wedding photographer for 13 years, and I’ve photographed 300+ weddings.

Over that time, I’ve realised most couples don’t actually want to spend their wedding day being lined up and told how to pose 😂

So that’s not really how I work.

I’m much more about documenting the day as it happens — the laughs, the tears, the chaos, the random little moments and all the stuff you’ll probably forget happened until you see the photos back.

And now, every full-day booking also includes my 2000s-style camcorders 📹

So you get the proper photographs, but also those nostalgic home-video clips of your friends being idiots, the dance floor, speeches and everything in between.

Full-day photography + camcorders — £1,900.

Travel is always included in my price too, so there’s no surprise travel costs added on afterwards.

I’m also fully transparent with my pricing — all my packages and prices are right there on my website. No “get in touch for pricing”, no awkward sales call just to find out what I charge.

Just nice and simple.

If you want your wedding photos to feel like your actual wedding, rather than a day spent posing for a camera… I might be your guy.

I’ve been photographing weddings for 13 years, and these are some of the things I do that might be a little different from what you expect from a wedding photographer.

I don’t want you spending hours posing, I don’t want to move things around just for a photo, and I definitely don’t want to recreate moments that didn’t happen.

Your wedding day comes first.

I’m there to capture what actually happens, the big moments, the little moments and everything in between — without taking over your day.

You live it.
I document it.

One of the biggest things I’ve learnt after 13 years of wedding photography is that your wedding day should never revolve around the photography.

I don’t want you spending hours away from your guests taking photos. I don’t want you worrying if your timeline runs late. And I definitely don’t want you feeling like you have to follow a load of rules just because you’ve booked a photographer.

I’m there for YOU.

I’ll work around you, your schedule and your preferences, while making sure we still get the photos you actually want.

You live it.
I document it.

1. DON’T PLAN TOO MUCH
Leave some time where you can just enjoy yourselves and actually be at your wedding.

2. GET A FEW GOLDEN HOUR PHOTOS
Even if your portraits are done earlier, sneak away for 10 minutes when the evening light comes through. You won’t regret it.

3. DON’T FORGET THE LITTLE DETAILS
Your evening reception is full of moments you might not even notice — your photographer should be looking out for these.

4. GIVE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER A HEADS-UP ABOUT SURPRISES
Sparklers, fireworks, a surprise dance or anything else planned for the evening — let us know so we’re ready.

5. GET ON THE DANCE FLOOR
The best photos usually happen when you stop worrying about the camera and properly enjoy yourselves.

6. DON’T LEAVE IT TOO LATE FOR YOUR LAST PHOTOS
If you want some photos later in the evening, tell your photographer. Once the party gets going, it can be surprisingly difficult to pull you away.
