ACTION REPLAYS. Get your own action replays of events in your family's past ... kids in the back garden ... sun-bathing on the beach and playing in the waves ... your 50th birthday party ... a trip to Africa ... your life-changing wedding ... and so on.

But these are all on old tapes and films, and you don't have a safe way - or even a way at all - to play them.

Oh Dear! Is this you?
"Oh dear" 1. I don't think our VHS player works properly any more, and it might damage our tapes if we try to play them to find out what's on them ...

Or is this you?
"Oh dear" 2. We don't have a VHS player any more, so we don't know what's on our old tapes.

I can rescue your past for the future. I can convert the following formats into DVD:
VHS, VHS-C, S-VHS, Betamax, Hi-8, Video 8, Digital-8, Mini DV.
I can also convert Audio Cassettes and Vinyl Records to CD and create enjoyable DVDs from slides and photographs, adding movement and music (and sometimes sound effects and commentary).
I can additionally transfer 8mm and Super-8 cine film to DVD (usually with music and sometimes with sound effects or commentary)

As old VCRs are virtually obsolete today, you will often not know exactly what your old tapes contain, so we can look together (no charge!) to work out what is possible or needed.

Imagine that you had film or video of your great great grandparents. You would love to see them as they were in life. So – as well as enjoying your own nostalgia – think of what might be treasured in 100 years time if you preserved your old film and tapes
Tapes and film degenerate over time, so it is worth future-proofing their content by converting them to DVD or Computer File.
I can rescue your past for the future. I can convert the following formats into DVD:

All transfers to DVD and CD are supplied in cases with printed labels identifying the contents. Where appropriate stills from the video will also be featured (for example a Wedding, a Christening, a 50th Birthday Party etc.) .
I have kept the cost as low as possible:
£10 for each original item (tape, cassette, record) however long or short.
8mm or Super-8 film: £10 per 3” reel, £15 per 5” reel, £20 per 7” reel (with music).
An agreed fee for editing and creating a sequence produced from photographs or slides.
Additional copies are £5 each
