What been happening in Britz HQ?

Well, we’ve moved! After a 10 month process and thinking we’d never get there, we’re finally in our will-be dream house.

She’s needing a LOT of work, there were more cobwebs than you could even imagine and I scrubbed the floor til my fingers were prunes… but it’ll be so worth it!

Watch this space, my office is the first space to be renovated (it’s currently a garage) and I cannot wait to have a purpose built space to work 👏🏻

But I’m back! it’s been nearly a month of packing up our lives just to unpack it somewhere new, but I have SO much to post because the weddings this year have been next level and I’m so grateful to all my amazing couples this year!

a Wiltshire wedding that sticks with you a whiiiiiile

Iz & Andy chose to get married in the Wiltshire village where Iz grew up, making every part of the day feel that little bit more personal. They exchanged vows in a beautiful church ceremony (a huge thank you to Rev Richard for such a warm welcome), before being paraded through the village by a brass band to their marquee reception in the field opposite the family home. It couldn’t have been a more perfect setting for their day

The surprises didn’t stop there... a stunt plane flew overhead, the speeches were unforgettable, and the dance floor was packed. Days like this are exactly why I love being a wedding photographer, everything felt deeply personal and sentimental.

Film scans to come and they really are spmenof my favourites ever (i feel like I say that every time)

Alice & Tim’s Chelsea wedding on film

Alice & Tim had an exclusively Chelsea wedding, starting at Chelsea townhouse, their ceremony Chelsea town hall and reception at The Surprise, all of which were new venues to me but hoping I get to come back soon!

Amy & Iain | a wedding in Bath

a gorgeous day filled with so many personal touches and special details

They had their ceremony at Bath guildhall with their closest friends and family before jumping on a green vintage bus back to Amy’s parents family home, with a stunning garden in full bloom.

it was incredibly special to photograph a day that felt so authentic to what they love, and was joy & love personified.

Lizzie & Max, the beach house edition

After their legal ceremony with close family in Bristol, Lizzie and Max celebrated with their best friends on the Welsh coast in a private house on a secluded cove near Tenby.

To photograph their legal wedding and “non legal” wedding was such an amazing experience, two different vibes, two completely different settings, but both were a beautiful celebrating of such a warm, kind and fun couple that is obviously loved by so many people!

And they lucked out not once but twice with the weather which was some kind of sorcery 🌞
