Winter gives me breathing room at
Admin days, editing marathons and lots of time at home and I’m genuinely grateful for it.

But there’s always this point where I feel that quiet creative restlessness 🫣

I miss shooting with intention and creating with purpose.

Late February always feels like this to me. Not blooming yet, but not stuck either. Just a little between I guess.

This week has been slower than I planned.
Poorly Florence has meant contact naps most of the day. The only reason we’ve stepped outside has been for a bit of fresh air between cuddles.

It wasn’t intentional slowing down. But I’m glad it happened. In the quiet of it I’ve noticed things I normally rush past and how much softer everything becomes when you stop trying to “get things done.”

I used to push through winter, counting down to spring. Now I’m learning to let it stretch. Even when it’s messy and I’m tired 😅
