That magical season of waiting to meet your first baby.
Time stretches. The days feel both slow and fleeting, suspended between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming. Your connection to each other deepens in the quiet anticipation of what’s to come.
The to-do list is long, and there is always something left to prepare. But then a gentle kick pulls you back to the present. A reminder that not everything needs to be done today. That it’s okay to simply be.
Because you're already someone’s home. And long after these waiting days have passed, through every season that follows, you will forever be.

🌿 Self portraits from the garden 🌿

It's freeing to move past the block of being in front of the camera.
To throw on your favourite clothes just because you're alive, and let your hair down, being yourself in the space where you feel most like yourself.
It's powerful to be captured like that - a woman in her feminine space.
There's a naked shoulder, and a knee, and a spiritual soul - all on show.
How often do we hide who we are under disguising clothes to blend in?
How often do we squash down our feminine urge to slowly stroll through the garden and look at the flowers, a skirt swishing over the tall grass, a summer storm rumbling above?
But when the camera comes out, you can leave the world waiting.
You can be what your soul whispers.
Because cameras strip your facade right off anyway.
So now here you are, standing in front of a 24–70mm lens that sees right through you.
Feminine.
Powerful.
The force that brought your children into this world.
A skirt swishing through the tall grass of your garden, a storm darkening the sky above.
Finally captured as you are.
