Ok everyone, I've been working behind the scenes to try and put together a car meet to raise some money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The date I've come up with is June 14th, this doesn't clash with American Truck Nationals, Hot Rod Hayride, Dragstalgia and MPH drags and I can't see any events in the back of Custom Car for that date.

I've been in touch with landowners/business owners and come up with the following (with exact times yet to figure out) meet at Zaks Poringland (NR14 7RP) where breakfast will be available and then cruise to Grumpys Cafe at Earsham Mill Estate NR35 2TQ where the cafe will be open for us (and dog friendly).

The meet will be open to all classic cars, bikes, American cars and hot rods. I don't want to charge people entry as its takes the fun out of it so there will be donation buckets dotted about and money raised from the sale of photos will also go to Macmillan.

I'll be looking to get the word spread far and wide in a couple of magazines so if any businesses would like to sponsor the event in exchange for publicity then please get in touch.

Please share and please comment below if you'd be interested in coming along so I can gauge interest if its worth doing. If you've got a green car (physically green not electric) even better!

Well I'd just like to take this time to wish everyone a happy Christmas and new year. I haven't managed as many shows this year, other aspects of life have been busy and I've lost my motivation a little but I know you're all out there and I appreciate the support more than ever it means alot. For those going on the Cold Turkey Run, enjoy the day and I'll see you all in the new year.

Its nice to receive the latest National Street Rod Association UK Street Gasser magazine just before Christmas to lift those winter blues. 6 pages on the Vintage Hot Rod Association hotrod races event in a beautiful part of Wales and a little page on a local in Suffolk

Hi everyone. I've already signed up for another mighty hike in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support next year. Some of you have generously donated in previous years which I'm very grateful for. Every year its getting harder to raise money for the charity so I'm wondering about holding some car meets in the new year to try and raise some pennies and help out a local business at the same time. At the moment I've got three options, Wymondham, Poringland and Earsham. Would anyone be interested in a meet or two in aid of Macmillan and where would be your preferred location or would people be interested in one at each location? All three would occur on a sunday and all three locations have food/drink on site (the cafe at Earsham is dog friendly) Let me know your thoughts below
