What an amazing opening night for my solo exhibition, Teatro Muto - The Silent Theatre, at The Troubadour Gallery.

Here are a few installation photos from before the amazing buzz of the Private View. Thank you so much to everyone who came along, it was such a brilliant evening. Really appreciate Jack, Lex, Mandy, Kate, James, Loveday, Mike and everyone who came to the opening night.

MEMORY AND VISION - FLORENCE

A few more installation views from Memory and Vision at Palazzo Buontalenti in Florence. I was completely captivated by this room, particularly the incredible frescoed ceiling. Seeing the photographs installed within these beautifully restored Renaissance spaces has been such a special experience - the architecture adds another layer to the work and creates an amazing dialogue between the photographs and the building itself.

Memory and Vision forms part of the European University Institute’s 50th anniversary programme, and I’m very grateful to everyone who made it possible.

The exhibition continues until 12 October 2026 and is free to visit on Mondays and Saturdays, 3–7pm.

I’m very excited that my new solo exhibition, Teatro Muto – The Silent Theatre, at Troubadour Gallery in Soho, opens this Friday!

Thank you to for your brilliant curation.

Alongside photographs and unique paper collages, I’m especially excited to be showing a series of new mirror works created exclusively for the exhibition.

These works are part of my Corrodium series, where photographs are transferred onto mirror and then deliberately corroded, creating texture, patina and a sense of something rediscovered - somewhere between an image, an object and a forgotten place.

Teatro Muto takes its name from a disused theatre I photographed in Pisa, where a building that once echoed with applause and anticipation now sits in quiet abandonment.

The photograph I’m sharing here, Projecteur Fantôme, was taken in an abandoned theatre in Belgium in 2015. It feels particularly fitting to share it now, as theatres and the stories they hold have been such an important part of my work over the years.

A fantastic day installing my solo exhibition in Soho today at
A huge thank you to for his hard work and fantastic curation- his vision of the final show stayed consistent throughout and so glad we could pull it off, especially with my brand new mirror works! So pleased with how it's turned out.

I can't wait for it to open tomorrow - so excited! Absolutely buzzing to share this new work with you all!

Cadenza has been shortlisted for the Alpine Fellowship Visual Arts Prize!

I’m delighted to share that Cadenza has been shortlisted for the 2026 Alpine Fellowship Visual Arts Prize.

I photographed this inside one of the most fascinating abandoned castles I’ve ever visited. There was so much left behind that my imagination went wild - huge holes in the ceilings and floors, beautiful ornate plasterwork, and amongst it all, this extraordinary piano.

There was something about seeing it sitting there in the decay that completely stopped me. The room was incredibly atmospheric, and I could have photographed it for hours.

Getting inside was another matter… let’s just say it involved a very narrow escape, for more than one reason!

I’m so pleased that Cadenza has been recognised by the Alpine Fellowship and selected for the shortlist. The final results are still to come - fingers crossed!

It was such a special moment to visit Battersea Power Station and see my new collection of photographs on display at the Battersea Power Supplies Museum and Gift Shop recently. I'll have this display up for a few months.

My connection with Battersea goes back to 2010, admiring the desolate chimneys and impressive brick exterior at night. I photographed it at sunrise, it was a magic moment.
In 2013 I returned and had exclusive access to photograph the incredible interiors, including Control Room A and Auxiliary Switch Room B. Now, seeing those photographs displayed within the Power Station site itself feels like a wonderful full circle moment.

I’m also so pleased to see my friend Michael Wallners amazing neon ans aluminium works on display in the shop. It's fantastic to see both our work being shown in this extraordinary setting.

Girls just wanna have fun… apparently. 😂

There are many ways to experience a building.

Some people visit museums.
I’ve climbed endless staircases to nowhere, crawled through windows, squeezed through impossible gaps and, on occasion, spent the night in a sleeping bag in a windowless window.

All in the name of photography, obviously.

These are the slightly less glamorous moments behind the photographs - the adventures, the ridiculous entrances and the places that make it all worthwhile.

And somehow, after all these years, I’m still doing it.

If you’d like to see where these adventures end up, my latest work is currently on display at Battersea Power Station, and my new solo exhibition Teatro Muto - The Silent Theatre opens in Soho this September.

A little reminder that my work is currently on show as part of La Gacilly-Baden Photo 2026 in Austria.

The festival transforms the beautiful town of Baden bei Wien into a huge open-air gallery, with photography displayed throughout its streets, gardens and public spaces.

I’m especially honoured to be exhibiting at the Heiligenkreuzerhof, one of Baden’s oldest buildings - a fitting setting for work exploring abandoned places and the passage of time.

The festival runs until 11 October, so if you’re in Austria this summer, I’d highly recommend a visit.
