Happy eleventh Birthday to us all at Final Cut Video Editing & Photos. Wow, the time has gone so quickly since we opened the doors on 7th August 2015, although lots of planning was needed before we could hit the ground running 😊

Here we are on 7th August 2026, with over 1,100 customers, almost 370 reviews (99% five-star), four Midlands Enterprise Awards, and one Media Innovation Award.

Thank you to everyone who has been a customer over the last eleven years; without you, there would be no Final Cut.

We are currently snowed under with work, with levels not seen since the pandemic, so much so that we are now taking orders beyond next month!

Another fabulous review, which our client posted on Google. He had three VHS tapes, which were separated by mould, but through some careful cleaning, we managed to transfer the tapes, preserving them for all time. We are the award-winning Final Cut. Preserve those memories as they can fade if you don't 😊

I want to emphasize some crucial advice for anyone with precious VHS videotapes. Storing them in damp conditions, such as a garage or shed, can lead to the magnetic tape becoming infested with mold.

To protect your tapes, you must store them in sealed plastic containers in a cool environment, like a loft. The image below clearly demonstrates how badly tapes can deteriorate due to moisture.
