Maisie & Jack // Rutland Hall Hotel

A five fighter jet fly-by. At a wedding. Arranged in secret by the groomsmen.

And somehow that wasn’t even the moment that got me.

Jack and Maisie’s day at Rutland Hall had everything. The ceremony. Singing waiters. Sax and DJ keeping the floor full. And yes, the sky genuinely opening up with a flypast nobody saw coming.

But the bit I’ll remember is the faces. The reactions. The people in the background who had no idea they were being filmed, caught in the middle of a day they’ll want to relive for the rest of their lives.

That’s the whole reason I do this. Not the spectacle. The people you’ll want to watch again in thirty years.

Maisie and Jack, thank you for letting me be there. What a day.

I love filming moments like these. They are raw, not perfectly filmed but convey the moment just right. Meg and her mum got to experience that and it was amazing.

In October 2025, I had the privilege of filming Jess & Ant’s wedding.

Their story is filled with challenges that most couples never have to face. When Jess told me in our consultation that she wanted to give her own speech, I was all for it. We need more bride speeches.

This small clip says everything. The gratitude. The relief. The joy of simply being there, together, on that day.

Here’s a moment I live for.

At most weddings, if you pay attention, there are a few moments of pure gold. This is one of them.

Sam and Abi had just taken to the dance floor when Sam’s mum couldn’t hold in her pride any longer I caught it.

Photos are incredible at freezing a moment in time. But with video, you get moments like this.
