Martin Beard Photography Natural & candid wedding photography. My aim is to be a 'guest with a camera' Capturing moments also including a few formal photos to keep parents happy.

Martin Beard Photography are wedding and portrait photographers based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. We cover the whole of East Anglia (and are the recommended photographers for venues in Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex), but will travel further afield on request. Martin Beard Photography was established in 2001. Martin gained a BTEC National Diploma in photography in 1998, and has been photographing weddings since 1993. Our aim is to provide modern and different wedding photography in a relaxed and unobtrusive manner. Martin's clients have included Darryl Holland, Martin O'Neill, Wendy Richards, Les Dennis and Julie Peasgood. We specialise in Graphistudio wedding books (story book wedding photography) and Jorgensen bespoke wedding albums. The majority of weddings we photograph are shot in reportage photography style, which is natural wedding photography. We take the majority of wedding photographs without the bride & groom or wedding guests knowing, we also shoot candid wedding photography for nice relaxed group photographs, and of course those spontaneous moments.

Finally finding a little time amongst the chaos of wedding season, a house renovation and life with a toddler to share some of the wonderful weddings I have had the absolute privilege of being part of this year 🤍

It’s been an incredible wedding season so far and it is far from finished! September is looking wonderfully busy with 10 weddings in the diary this month alone 🥂

I’m so incredibly thankful to every couple who chooses and trusts me to be part of such an important day. Whether I’m helping behind the scenes, capturing the moments or simply making sure everything runs as it should, it genuinely means so much to me.

I was lucky enough to finish 2025 with five beautiful December weddings, all at the amazing 🤍 Such a special way to close the season.
