I’d started to pack everything away after a day at the village fete when these gorgeous girlies and their lovely mum came running towards me shouting ‘are you the dog photographer?!” 🐾

I’ve been working towards this for years, doing shoots between shifts and pulling all nighters to get galleries out before work, always saying ‘it’ll be worth it when I’m a full time dog photographer!’. 📸

So being able to say ‘wait yes, that’s me! I’m the dog photographer!’ as a stranger is running across a field in torrential rain just to have me take their dog’s photos is something I will never, ever take for granted! 🫶🏻

Thank you for all the commissions from the Edenfield Village Fete! I’m STILL working my way through galleries so thank you for being patient and keep an eye on those emails. 💌

Brilliant day at the Edenfield Village Fete yesterday! 🎪

I’ve photographed/filmed close to 50 dogs on this field over the past year so it was very fitting that my first ever stall was on here! 🐶

Thank you to everyone that took the time to come over and chat, have their photos taken and ask about my work. Lots of people recognised my photos from social media which is crazy as I’m not as active as I should be on here! 🫶🏻

It was a great turnout despite the absolute washout. Definitely something I’ll be doing more of in the future, bigger and better set up pending! 📸

This photo made it onto Pearl’s carousel a few weeks ago but I feel like it needs its own place on the grid! ✨

I’d watched the weather religiously on the lead up to Pearl’s shoot, making sure it wasn’t going to be too hot or too bright after the heatwave we’d been having. Everything looked good to go until the night before, checking the forecast one last time, I saw clouds had suddenly appeared! Overcast conditions are my absolute favourite to shoot in, the lighting is soft and dreamy. Perfect, or so I thought! ☁️

The morning of, the sky looked a little dark but nothing too scary. But within minutes of leaving the cars, the grey clouds rolled in bringing torrential wind and rain that would last for almost the entirety of our shoot. It was cold, wet and not summery at all! 🌿

Pearl and her owners were fab sports, totally on board with the cosy autumn vibe we were suddenly working with. Only Entwistle could make that kind of weather look good. Zoom in to see just how much rain we had! 🌧️

As with my dog photography, my work has to represent me…

I’m a documentary style photographer so you don’t need any modelling experience! My only requirement is that you genuinely love country music.

Another pause on the dog content because I’ve been shooting a lot of events lately and I love it! Dog photography has my heart but being trusted to capture special memories as they unfold and the emotions that come with them is just magic. Send more my way please! ✨

As my sister was visiting this weekend, I let her pick the breed and she chose the Springer Spaniel! I will be opening it to all Spaniels but Springers will get bonus points! 🐾
