I am based in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, offering
one to one workshops and tuition.

Please email or phone for information on prices and details on booking a photography workshop. We have no set dates, as all our workshops are geared around our customers diary. We only offer one to one workshops, we do not partake in groups, as we like to concentrate on the needs of the customer.

Yesterday saw Rob from Buckinghamshire join us for his 1-2-1 Snowdonia Landscape Photography, we were both concerned about the threatening weather but the weather improved as the day went on and we got some good images. Rob wanted to move away from the auto settings and wanted more control over the images captured, by lunch time Rob fully understood how exposure compensation works and the impact it can have at the taking stage. Well done Rob, looking forward to our next workshop together.

On Friday we enjoyed the company of Balazs from Basingstoke, the light could have been a little more sympathetic but we had a very enjoyable workshop in the Nantlle Valley and we hope it helps Balazs on his photographic journey.

Andy and Anne from Hampshire joined us here today at Minffordd Photography, for another landscape workshop, we experienced all types of weather, low cloud, rain showers, sunshine and wind but we pressed on and captured some very nice images. We look forward to meeting up with them both very soon.

Today Tim from Wiltshire joined us again for further tuition here at Minffordd Photography, the light was not that good but we soldiered on and ended the day with some super images and Tim left us after gaining further knowledge of his camera and the art of composition. We look forward to Tim returning very soon.

Jordan from Wigan joined us today for his 1-2-1 Snowdonia Landscape Photography Workshop. Jordan is beginning his photographic journey but very quickly understood depth of field, f-stops, exposure compensation, exposure etc. etc, we look forward working with Jordan on his journey.

Today Eirian from West Wales joined us for his workshop, composition, exposure compensation and understanding the histogram were just a few topics Eirian wanted to get further information on and to understand them more, by the end of the workshop Eirian was fully conversant with the histogram and his exposure control had improved immensely, well done Eirian, we are looking forward to working with you again soon.

Yesterday Gary from the West Midlands joined us for his workshop in Eryri, we were blessed with lovely weather and we did not bump into many other visitors. Gary was great company and now has a better understanding of his camera and some super photographs, we look forward to meeting up with Gary again soon.

Today Iain from Oxfordshire joined us for his 1-2-1 Snowdonia Landscape Photography Workshop, we had chocolate box skies again but this time with some flat water conditions. Iain was great company and I think its fair to say that he went away with some super images. We look forward to meeting up with Iain again soon on another one of our workshops.

Today, Roger from South Wales joined us for his 1-2-1 Snowdonia Landscape Photography Workshop, another chocolate box morning greeted us but we still managed to capture a few nice images. we were hoping to use some of Rogers plate camera kit but unfortunately the high winds put that totally out of the question never mind there's always next time. Another great day in the field and we look forward to meeting up with Roger again soon.

Yesterday under chocolate box skies we enjoyed the company of Sophia from South Yorkshire, we had a great day in the field and at the end of the workshop Sophia captured some great images and a better understanding of her camera. We look forward to working with Sophia again soon.
