I wasn’t sure whether to declare anything or not but due to a lot of new enquiries I thought it’s the right thing to do.

I’m currently editing my last Newborn shoot for at least a year. A few reasons- arthritic hips and a new opportunity means that I will be giving photography a break for the foreseeable.

If I have capacity, I will try to honour any existing families that will have 1 year olds within the next 12 months so you can complete your first year collections but I won’t be accepting anyone new.

I will reassess the situation in January 2027 so will keep this page open but it will probably end up unused for a while.

The online gallery option will be shutting down by April so if there is anything you haven’t downloaded please do it now because after April it will not be available.

Thankyou all SO much for the past 10 years! I’ve loved every minute and don’t regret any time editing out your children’s snot, spots, tears, dribble and food lol.

Seriously it’s been amazing to meet so many families, one of my favourite things has been meeting families from other cultures- Ukrainian, Egyptian, Indian, Columbian, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Canadian, American, African, Polish, Arabian, Chinese and I’m sure I’ve missed out a few. Thankyou for sharing traditions of your culture with me. It’s been a privilege.

Over the past year you may have seen I’ve been posting less.. many reasons for this including a little social media laziness.. however with the increase of AI and the way the world is at the moment I have recently made a conscious choice to try to not post clear images children’s faces going forward.

This is a bold choice for a family photographer as I literally rely on those images of big wide eyes and smiley faces to earn a living but the world is turning in a way that is way bigger than me. I want you to come for photos, have fun and feel safe. I have a duty of care for you and ‘likes’ on a cute image are just not worth it.

It’ll be a creative challenge for me to manage my social media and I might be walking my business into the grave but I have to give this a try.

Obviously I am still working and I will be still be giving you shiny happy emotionally classic images of your children, it’s just that I won’t be sharing them with the world.

To help me I’d appreciate you showing off your images to friends and family when they visit your homes, directing people to my website and coming back :-).

Happy New Year!!!

Families that came on Saturday will have photos sent over the weekend. I will need the balance paid before can send them, thanks to everyone that has paid in full.

Sunday's families will have to wait until the end of next week sorry and the same applies.. payment in full before I can send them.

I've been working around the clock to get them all ready in time for you to order Christmas cards and prints for gifts etc.. however I didn't account for Stranger Things to be dropping 3 episodes tomorrow .... eeeek, I'm so excited and this will hold me up as there's no way I'm editing tomorrow evening (or Friday if we don't manage to binge watch all 3 episodes)... I'm so excited... have been playing the Never Ending Story on Alexa on repeat for about 3 days now lol.

Self esteem still intact though as I managed to get a lotta lotta laughs. Apologies for sending any children home hyper.. and apologies for making any reluctant parents get infront of the camera.. it’s your own fault for looking so lovely 🥰 🤣

Wow! 14 children, 7 families in today and one of my favourite shooting days to date. We’ve had loads of fun, caught some natural laughs / smiles and had some banter.

All of this week's Xmas shoots are almost ready to send to their forever homes. I'm planning on doing this tomorrow (Thursday) evening. I will need the balance payment please before I send them out - same details as the deposit and reference with your name so I know it's you!

Emails would also be very useful, though I can also send the link through Facebook messenger.

2 images to go and then I'm clear for next weekend's marathon of weekend minis!

Great day today with 9 incredible children. Their parents were well behaved too 😉. Honestly enjoyed every single shoot and I love seeing your beautiful children grow through the years.

Newborn bookings are coming in thick and fast at the moment but sadly I’ve had to refer on as I’m at full capacity. I hate turning people away so please please please don’t leave it until the last minute. 🙏

January / Feb are looking great for availability at the moment but don’t leave it until after Xmas to book in.

One of the many reasons I adore photographs is capturing moments in time and being able to reflect, remember and feel. The beautiful lady on the left is my mum, 36 years ago on her 50th birthday, the woman on the right is me on Friday, the day before my 50th birthday.

The similarities in outfit, jewellery. posture, hand placement and the overall vibe surprises me, because this wasn’t planned. I found mum’s photo on Sunday and could feel the atmosphere of that party, all those years ago.
