Great start to the week supporting a client welcome students on one of their incredible early career schemes.

We trialed new systems and new ways of working to prioritise efficiency and output and, although not perfect, certainly a step in the right direction (and yes I’m well aware this paragraph belongs on LinkedIn. Shoot me. It’s early)

Thank you to the team (in this instance, .films and ) who, as always, made the job much easier and did incredible work (even if most of it was from .films)

This year I’m forcing myself to slow down more while shooting. So I bought a medium format film camera that shoots 6x6 images and 12 shots per roll.

These are shots from at the wedding fair and my 2nd time taking it out to play (still waiting for the first roll back 🙄)

Room for improvement but I’m not disappointed considering I’ve never shot medium format and haven’t shot film in over 20 years.

Happy 2026!!

We had a hell of a year!! (We’re still recovering) but thank you to everyone who trusted us and engaged with us to capture so many things over the last 12 months and to all the freelancers who are as much a part of the team as anyone!!

We’ve been in Bad Wolf Studios, London, Manchester, Wyboston, even produced a podcast for and and have (somehow) delivered over 2000 images a month!!! (No idea how many videos or how much video content but… I’m guessing a lot)

We didn’t have a goal for 2025 other than “still be here at the end of it” and for 2026 the goal is to still be here and to learn. We’ll try and document some of it… maybe 👀

Anyway, thank you to .films .from.beth .made.stuff and, of course, .jane. You’ve all been invaluable and a lot less would have happened without you. Ready to do it all again? 👀

Been a slow start to 2025 so what better time than to play in the studio again.

and I have been looking for time to get back into the studio for almost a year and so we set a date, made a vague plan and made some stuff and, honestly, potentially some of my best studio work to date (which is all Elans fault).

Thank you to Morgan at .place for hosting us and can’t wait to try more stuff in their incredible space!!
