Here are some pictures of Temple Church in Bristol, one of only six Knights Templar churches in England.

Temple Church had its origins as a small monastic church, founded by the Knights Templar in the 12th century.

After the Templar order was closed in the 1310s, their round church here was rebuilt on a large scale as a more conventional rectangular church.

Carew Castle is a striking medieval fortress with a rich history stretching back over 2,000 years. Perched beside a serene millpond, the castle boasts architectural elements from Norman, Elizabethan, and Tudor periods, making it unique among Welsh castles.

Originally built in the 12th century by the Norman lord Gerald de Windsor, it later passed through the hands of various influential Welsh and English families who expanded and modified it over the centuries.
