It's been a year in the making but I am so happy to finally launch this project dedicated to local artisans, artists and small businesses. This type of photography is to me, incredibly meaningful, because it brings to light journeys of hard work and stories that matter in the pursuit of creating something bigger than oneself - mastering a craft or serving the community through your own business.⁠

Going through some old images I never had a chance to share.
A little "fun" fact: It was a beautiful autumn day and I wanted to capture this perfect mirror effect but by the time I set up my tripod and chose the correct lens, a dozen rowing boats entered my frame and the moment was gone. I remember being slightly frustrated I lost my chance and had to wait at least one hour for this perfect stillness to return to get a clear shot. Thinking in retrospective after 3 weeks in self-isolation, I would now be sitting on the edge of the water, cheering them on and enjoying this magnificent view for longer. I should make a list of things never to take for granted while I'm at it.

Project

Launching today a campaign meant to support struggling local coffee shops and bakeries directly impacted by Coronavirus, those reduced to take-away options or under threat of closure. I would like to help the best I can so I am ready to gift professional product photography to highlight 2 products of your choice and keep your social presence up to date with compelling images. This offer is limited to 10 local businesses but, depending on demand and my own resources, I would be looking at options to expand the threshold.

Majestic Glencoe, easily one of my favourite places on Earth. To me it's an enigma.. I was overcome with an eerie and true deep connection to this land since the moment I first travelled there. Beyond its beauty there's something that moves the soul and I can't quite explain it, I never could. But I did find other people, during the times I was selling prints in art fairs, that felt the exact same thing and it's quite overwhelming, some were moved to tears...it feels like home.⁠
Have you ever been to Glencoe? Did you feel this emotion? I am genuinely curious to know other people's experience in relation to this place.
