For the last 4 years I have been doing the 52Frames Challenge, it starts on the first week of each year, so now is the time to join in. It really will improve your photography skills, no matter what level you are now and it doesn't matter what kit you use. It isn't a competition group, it is about self improvement, and gives you the incentive to use your camera a lot more and learn while doing so.
It is free, so why not give it a go?

“ Sign of the times ”
My 200th image in the challenge
I live in a place where one of the most photographed signs in the world is, but I chose to take a topical view on signs. this is certainly a sign that we are living in unusual times. I live in one of the most vibrant, fast moving and lively cities in the UK, we live in a place were over 2/3 of the population is a student, so we have a very active nightlife, but not today.
This image is Saturday night at 10pm, when everyone is out and having a good time, or they used to be. Today, we are all on lockdown. We have seen the infection rate go from 25 per 100k to 600 per 100k in just 4 weeks, so the signs are, we need to do what is right. Please Keep safe out there.

“ A bit of a glitch ”
My daughter gave my the idea this week, she is at college and is working on glitching the code of images using sound editing software, so I went to YouTube to see what I could find out, and although my image doesn't use the same methods, it is a style of glitching, and something I had never heard of before. I couldn't find a volunteer as a model for this week, so I stood in myself
