Andrew Rae Photographer Moments over posing. I’m in perpetual search of light. Based on the Isle of Skye, Scotland, but al Hi, I’m Andrew Rae.

I’m a hugely passionate photographer who believes that wedding photographs and the memories that they capture are massively important. I love the responsibility that comes with the trust you put in me to capture your day. I’m from Glasgow, Scotland and am still based there most of the year. I will use just about any excuse in the book to travel though, so if you have a wedding or elopement planned

somewhere interesting then get in touch and we’ll see if we can make it work. I love getting to know couples who live adventurously, are crazy about each other and are just good people. I'm not in this to win competitions, awards or Instagram likes. I do it because I love my job and what I create.

Sarah & Ross - a couple of legends! They weren’t for letting a bit of weather get in the way of their vows, and just look at the reward they got.

In fact, they enjoyed it so much, they made a point of soaking me afterwards to make sure I wasn’t feeling left out. 🍾 🥂

I’m really chuffed to have this photograph from Annie & Jacob’s wedding day on the Isle of Skye included in the 2026 Junebug Weddings Best of the Best Destination Photography Collection.

It’s a huge honour to be part of this collection, selected from images captured all over the world by some truly outrageously talented photographers.
