Thankfully there haven't been any HGVs coming through the village recently. Still no warning signs at the Heol Goch/Main Road junction though.

Just had an interesting and useful talk with somebody from Chris Hayter Transport about this morning's HGV. He looked at the Google Maps Street View and suggests that drivers coming off the A470 for the Gwaelod y Garth Industrial Estate are being confused by the signage on the bridge over the Taff (I can see what he means. The English text isn't clear, it's partially obstructed by the 30mph sign, and the graphics make it look as though there's a weight limit on both exits of the small roundabout). He suggests that drivers see all that and decide to go back to the A470, reprogramme their Satnav and take the route via Upper Boat.
