My best selling image (8 so far) printed, mounted and framed at uni by myself and Kenny in the workshop is back in the shop window and for sale at £50. It’s A4 size and printed on pearl/lustre paper.

Would you like a beginners photography lesson? I’ve been doing photography for around 14 years, i’ve just completed year 1 of a BA (Hons) in photography at University of Cumbria and loving passing on what i know to help people take beautiful photos and get creative.

£35 for around an hour of tuition.

I am experienced in landscape, astrophotography, weddings, events and portraiture.

Wonderful Katie on our Main Reception is always happy to help everyone & we were happy to help her with some beautiful artwork to enhance the reception area.

These photographs were created by 1st Year students (soon to be 2nd Years!) working in partnership on the ‘Collaborative Practice’ module - in this case Jenna Mayo (BA Wildlife Media) collaborating with Marco Berti (BA Photography).

We’re delighted to showcase the creativity of our talented students in this way. The brilliant Paul Forsyth (BA Fine Art alumnus & graduate resident) has located lots of our other student’s fantastic artworks into glass display cabinets located in our reception entrance foyer.

I spent a beautiful day in Penrith in the beautiful Castle Park and up at the Beacon with that lovely view of Penrith and the Lake District beyond. There is plenty of deliberate juxtaposition going on with old and new architecture.

It was fun with a colleague.
