Happy Friday everyone here is a little fact in the European pied flycatcher.

The European Pied Flycatcher is a tiny migratory bird with a surprisingly epic commute. It breeds across parts of United Kingdom and northern Europe during spring and summer, then flies all the way to western Africa for the winter — thousands of miles twice every year.

This is a first for me 😊

I was very disappointed Seeing a photographer ( family photos ) stepped off the boardwalk at RSPB Dinas when I visited was quite upsetting. They were taking photos near a bird box where parent birds were clearly trying to feed their young, and some bluebells were crushed in the process.

I’m sure they probably didn’t mean any harm and may not have realised the disturbance it could cause, but it’s a reminder that staying on paths and giving nesting birds space is really important — especially at protected nature reserves.
