Sorry about the recent inactivity, I've been busy doing website updates, which are still on going but almost complete.
I have managed a few blog posts recently, and this is just one of them - a few words about the image below.

Taken up on the viaduct looking back to the road we just travelled.
I'll be back here in a couple of weeks for a longer stay than I was when this image was taken, so expect more images from SW Scotland soon. πŸ™‚

Originally planted to provide an impressive and imposing approach to a newly built house, the Dark Hedges are alleged to be haunted by a spirit named the Grey Lady, who travels the road by flitting from tree to tree.
It's also told that there's the spirit of a maid of the house that was built, who died mysteriously.
These days, however, it's more likely to be tourists that you encounter at this Game of Thrones filming location for The King's Road.

To prove my point about tourists.
The first image I took in July of 2015, the second image was shared by North Coast in April of 2017 (link below) but this is why there is now traffic restrictions in place at this location.
You can still get lucky and visit during times with nobody else around, but you have to be either lucky, or you planned your trip there very well.

It was a lovely sunrise sky during the drive home from work this morning.
This image was taken on my phone camera at the end of the journey, when sadly all of the very deep hues had started to get desaturated by the encroaching breaking of the horizon by the sun.

Personal project completed 😁
I've had my Nikon D3 DSLR for ten years now. Having just recently upgraded my camera I thought about compiling a visual archive representing the last ten years of my photographic journey.
With this in mind, I've gone through my entire archive of images taken with this camera and picked the photographs that I like the most (not necessarily the most technically perfect images) and edited them with fresh eyes and then compiled them in chronological order into this single volume book.
It took me a year to complete this project.
I’ll start posting some of the images contained in the book shortly.
I’m just really happy it’s finally complete.

Fairhead, or Fair Head or Benmore, is a 5 kilometre mountain cliff, close to the sea, at the north-eastern corner of County Antrim, Northern Ireland, whose rock face is formed into distinctive vertical columns like organ pipes.
The cliff face rises 196 metres at max. elevation.
