⚔️🏛️ Roman Day is almost here! 🏛️⚔️

Tomorrow (Saturday 30th), Castleford will be stepping back in time as the town celebrates Roman Day! 🎉

You'll find some of our members at Castleford Library hosting a 📸 Pop-Up Family Photoshoot from 10am – 3pm. Best of all, your photos will be professionally printed and ready to take home on the day! 🖼️✨

💷 Every penny raised will go directly back into supporting the library, so you'll be helping a fantastic local community resource while creating some special memories.

We can't wait to see lots of little centurions, Roman warriors, and their families joining in the fun! 🛡️👑⚔️

It was great to see members getting stuck into the practical minimalist still life tonight. Hope to see some of your favourite images this coming week.

What an incredible day for the club at the annual Yorkshire Photographic Union Assembly & Exhibition! 📸🏆

We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that our members achieved an amazing 28 acceptances across the exhibition! 👏👏

Today we celebrate the magic of photography in its purest form… no fancy lenses, no autofocus—just a tiny hole and a whole lot of creativity! 🔍

Pinhole photography reminds us that sometimes less really is more. Slowing things down, embracing the blur, and capturing the world in a beautifully simple way 🌍

Following on from our open day last week, we’re going back to basics this coming Monday (12th) 🙌
We’ll be learning all about the Exposure Triangle 🔺—how ISO, aperture, and shutter speed work together to help you capture the perfect shot ✨
