BARF 's annual Seven Sevens fell race was held in glorious sunshine (well, mostly).

As ever, the race is held in conjunction with the Mourne Seven Sevens Challenge Walk , now hosted by Lagan Valley Orienteers .

What an enjoyable day in the hills.

Part of the Emerald Isle Orienteering Festival 2023 , and hosted by Lagan Valley Orienteers , this was the first ever UK Urban League orienteering event in NI. What a setting. Not often you get to brush up on Norman history AND go orienteering 🏰

My photos from the British Sprint Orienteering Championships in Armagh City - the first day of the British Orienteering Sprint & Middle Champs, and the penultimate day of the Emerald Isle Orienteering Festival 2023

The Sprint Champs is a set of two races - morning heats & afternoon finals. With a gap in between. Rather wonderfully, I saw neither race - so here's some nice pics of people NOT orienteering 😬
