BACK TO SCHOOL 2026. Year 8 & Year 9.
No one listened except Woody, no one was happy except Woody, no one smiled except Woody. Everyone argued, except Woody. Thank god for Woody!
But, they did do the jump. EVERY SINGLE year they have jumped for me.
It's our tradition, they even stick to the same sides - like Ant & Dec, they don't switch. Check out my feed for all my back to school photo jumps over the years if you are bored witless and have time to spare. It's my thing, I've blogged about it and now my children are so old that they humour me.
I'm nostalgic and a bit sad but today was bloody peaceful. Oh and she got huge blisters from not trying on the shoes as I told her to...but I didn't say I told you so, even though I screamed it internally 😜📷

Summer Exhibition has been a staple part of my culture fix every summer for decades but today and I enjoyed an early private tour. It was pure bliss, no crowds and an exhibition guide. Shamelessly star spotting since the 00’s. In my old TV job bumping into a PM or a pop star in the corridor or Green Room was a hazard of the job. I can’t lie that I’m thrilled I still get to do it now. Spot anyone you recognise!
