oral b , cheese and a sorry card for fat dave

this is my ever growing collection of handwritten lists . neat ones , scruffy ones , shopping ones , to do ones , illegible ones , spelling mistake riddled ones , foreign ones , ripped ones , ones on envelopes , ones on hotel stationary , ones on waitress pads, ones i’ve found on the pavement , in baskets , saved from puddles , and ones my family and friends have saved for me .

i’ve always loved handwriting and i’ve always loved lists . they feel like a human attempt to distill the chaos of the world into something more manageable . and a humbling reminder that no matter our differences , we all pretty much gotta go get some more milk .

the leaves are changing out there and the summer clothes hang unworn again . i’ve been good though . went to the car boot and didn’t buy anything . bought tickets to a concert . cut my hair badly . talked to my ma on the phone . my fingers hurt from playing guitar . got a show next week . i don’t know what will happen but i’m glad that i survived .
