How I lost 9st and
reversed my prediabetes.
Portrait of Georgia Garlick who has written about her experience of years of secret binge eating and failed diets, and a health scare that forced her to address her relationship with food and overhaul my lifestyle.

Drugs, blackmail, affairs: I spent 10 years uncovering the excess that destroyed my family’s empire. My father squandered our fortune before he died. Decades later, I went searching for the masterpiece that tore our lives apart.
My portrait of journalist and writer Serena Kutchinsky at her home in Buckhurst Hill, London, ahead of the launch of her novel ‘Kutchinsky Egg’.

My day on patrol with Britain’s deer-hunter-in-chief.
As over population wreaks havoc on Britain’s woodlands, experts say 750,000 of the creatures will need to be culled each year.
Commissioned by The Telegraph, I joined journalist Steve Boggan and professional deer stalker Tim Weston on patrol in Savernake Forest, Wiltshire. My brief was to use photographs and video to document the day on patrol.

“Nobody listens to me because I was a ju**ie. But that’s why they should’
My portrait of author and provocateur Will Self at his home in Stockwell, south London, for The Telegraph.
This is the second time I have photographed Will, the first being for the London Evening Standard. He’s always been friendly and talkative, but this time was for the launch of his latest book ‘The Quantity Theory of Morality’. We chatted about the world for an hour before we took a single frame. Whatever your thoughts of the man, he is a vastly intelligent and erudite human being that I found captivating.

Last week I was commissioned by The Telegraph to visit Wells Cathedral School, Somerset, for a feature on the impact of VAT on England’s cathedral schools.
In my job I’ve been lucky to travel all over the UK and the world, but I’d never been to Wells. What a beautiful town it is. The school is one of the first in England, dating back to the early 10th century when it would have been in the country of Wessex before a unified England.
It is also famously the town used to film the smash-hit comedy thriller ‘Hot Fuzz’.
