I’ve completed my Masters in Design…. Received a distinction (of course!)
And now I’m ready to take on the next adventure. Which means, I will no longer be a wedding photographer ♥️

I want to thank each and every couple I have had the privilege to photograph since 2008 when Sarah Janes began…
I want to thank the couples that were supportive when my Rich passed.
I want to thank the couples that have been patient with me during my studies.

I have been incredibly lucky and honoured to have met so many incredible people… to have made so many friendships… and that when I’m a very old lady I can say, for a time I photographed love ♥️

I wish you love and happiness.

A full time Masters degree… it’s kicking my arse..
E-commerce photography 12 hours a week..

I’m not even sure if anyone will see this as it’s been so long 😅

But I’m here, I’ve completed a BA degree and now begun a MA in design.
Shooting portraits and headshots over at Red Shoe
And in between all of this… I also have days of photographing love ❤️
I only photograph a handful a year, and every single one is made more special for this… it truly is an honour …

I think the news has finally sunk in, and now I’m applying for a Masters.
But I just want to say a huge thank you to all the support you have given me this past year. From supporting the new persona page that was for my main uni project, to self portrait suggestions... to the ladies that posted over the mountain of magazines for the collages... THANK YOU.

They say it takes a village to raise a child... I’ve had an army supporting me through this degree... xx

Happy New Year 🥳 This month marks the 13th birthday of Sarah Janes 🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉 I cannot even believe where this time has gone....

Happy New Year 🥳

This month marks the 13th birthday of Sarah Janes 🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉 I cannot even believe where this time has gone... here we are almost 450 weddings on and 13 years later....

And you know what fills my heart, couples who’s weddings I photographed yeeeaarrrssss ago growing into families.... ❤️ This new year my Facebook wall was full of status’s wishing happy New Years, with smiling slightly older faces with babies and children all growing up too quickly....

And although I no longer photograph the amount of weddings that I once did, I still do a couple of weddings a year, I still have a complete love affair with everything about the wedding day, the love, the family, the making of memories, the prints from your day that will one day become priceless to you.

This year sees three weddings with one in Ireland....and so the adventures continue ❤️ I am blessed to have photographed every single wedding over the years, I thank you for this!

So, I wish you, my past couples, a very happy new year, may your adventures continue, may all your wishes and dreams come true.... my 2020 couples I cannot wait to get in touch with you and see how you are doing... you are getting married this year!!!!!! ❤️

I have been sitting on these images FOR WEEKS!
To be fair I have no idea what day it is.... but I’m pretty sure that this beautiful girl has just got married! Sarah wanted to gift her husband to be... and do something for herself....

Congratulations beautiful girl! I hope you had the most perfect day ❤️

“I’d been toying with the idea of a shoot ever since my friend became a Red Shoe Girl and saw the results of her makeover and photoshoot. She looked fab (always has of course) but the confidence in her shone through and I thought ‘I want that!’ I wanted to feel pretty. I wanted to be beautiful! Turns out, I am! 😉 Mandy and Sarah were nothing less than amazing; they made me feel so relaxed and at ease (I was super nervous, but it didn’t last long) Not only that, I felt pretty, confident, beautiful, even sexy! It was like a spa day for my soul. I’m so happy with the final pictures. I see them and see the beauty in them and in me that I wanted to see. When it was over, I just wanted to do it all over again. Us women are all stunners, and Sarah captures that. If you’re tempted, it’s time to take the plunge. It’ll be the best thing you ever do.
