When you’re in the right place at the right time ✌🏻

We took Hannah & Jake down to the river for some couples portraits and as we’re doing our thing a party boat goes past filled with a hen do. Obviously the bride to be and Hannah had to have a little vibe check 😂 what a day!

These are the weddings I love most, the timeline has room to breathe, your guests are fully present and the focus is on having the best time with the people you love.

If you’re planning your own wedding my biggest piece of advice is to build a day that feels like you. The best photos don’t come from perfect poses or packed schedules. They come from real moments, genuine connection and giving yourselves time to enjoy it all 🤍

What a day at Groobarbs Field Kitchen 🌱🍽️

The sun was out, Back Chat Brass brought the energy from the very start and the whole day felt like one big party. It was filled with laughter, hugs and dancing and the vibes were high ✌🏻oh and rex orange county made a little guest appearance too!

Sarah & Lee poured themselves into every part of this day. From the handmade details to Sarah’s incredible wedding dress (also handmade unbelievably)! The whole thing reflected who they are. As nature lovers it couldn’t have suited them more. Also first looks between couples before the ceremony should be a thing we do more here, it was such a special moment.

My job isn’t just to take beautiful photos, it’s to help you feel at ease and gently guide you during portraits whilst making sure you are having fun (because what’s the point if you’re not enjoying yourselves) and then disappear into the background so you can spend time with the people you love.

Nearly all of the couples I work with tell me they are awkward in front of the camera and hate their photo being taken, but I absolutely guarantee that isn’t the case when we’re together on the day. The best photos come when you’re fully present in your day and not thinking about the camera :)

If you’re planning a relaxed wedding and looking for a wedding photographer who’ll blend in like another guest while capturing the moments that matter most I’d love to hear your plans. 🤍
