Change is here! My little business is 13 Years old this month and I am both excited and nervous to announce that there are some big changes happening around here! Here are some more details following on from last week's post… 🎈
𝐅𝐈𝐋𝐌 🎥
When I set up my business 13 years ago, I had GoPro's strapped to rider's helmets out on cross country tracks, race tracks and drag hunts. I was behind the scenes with Olympic riders at Blenheim Horse Trials and juggling 2 cameras at every opportunity to capture the motion and the stills. Somewhere along the line I started filming less and less and my photography has taken front and centre stage. I've missed the filming. This year I've felt it was time to come back to my film work and I have dedicated a lot of time and energy to a fantastic mentoring programme and I'm so excited for what this is going to bring!
𝑊𝐻𝐴𝑇 𝑇𝐻𝐼𝑆 𝑊𝐼𝐿𝐿 𝐿𝑂𝑂𝐾 𝐿𝐼𝐾𝐸
I am now offering short lifestyle family & brand films both alongside photo sessions and as standalone shoots. My hope is to capture the dynamic of your family life or small business in a slightly different way to what a set of photos offers. Whether you're enjoying a day at home with the ponies or in your workshop or setting off on an adventure in the mountains somewhere, take me with you to capture and create something truly special for your memory box!
𝐂𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒
As you will all know I have dedicated the last 13 years to Equine Photography. With my lifelong love of horses and experience both riding and working with them in one form or another it’s been an absolute dream to build my business working with these beautiful creatures (and their humans of course!) However, I have also always loved working with families and with my own life now very much in the world of little people I have been doing more and more family sessions and am absolutely loving this work.
𝑊𝐻𝐴𝑇 𝑇𝐻𝐼𝑆 𝑊𝐼𝐿𝐿 𝐿𝑂𝑂𝐾 𝐿𝐼𝐾𝐸
So I am expanding my horizons and you will be seeing a much more diverse selection of my work on here from now on. I will absolutely still be working with horses and riders but I will also be offering specific family shoot packages and sharing some of the photography & film work I do for small businesses too.
𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐘 💰
The nitty gritty! My working week looks a little different these days with a small agent of chaos (aka my son) to run around after and I'm still figuring out how to balance it all! After a lot of thought and workings out I am excited to trial a new session fee/package system for 2026 which I hope will work for both my clients and my new work capacity. My sessions are going to be a more all-inclusive set up, geared towards digital files with a vastly simplified print & product offering for those who do still want Photo Books, Frames or Wall Art from their session. I will be evaluating whether this works for everyone this year and will hopefully be able to roll this out more permanently if it's a hit!

All Standard Photo Shoots will now include a set of 10 High Resolution Digital Files which you will be able to choose at your leisure from your private password-protected gallery after your Photo Shoot. You will have the option to upgrade to the full set of images from your gallery and/or order any additional prints, books or artwork from either your gallery or a viewing & design appointment. I would love to hear your thoughts on all of this or if you have any questions. I’m loving being back out on shoots and creating again but the motherhood juggle is real!! (Not that I doubted any of you before!)
