And just like that another year done.

I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful the last 12 months have been.

The first full year in my little garden studio.

The opportunity to run more clubs.

So many new faces this year too, so many fantastic personalities and pushing me to teach in different ways to get the most out the members.

I’m so proud of my home ed class and beginner club, they have come a long way not only in photography but in their confidence as well.

Both my older groups who are taking GCSE and A-Levels have, again, pushed me to do more while also trusting them more with projects and team work. Congrats on them all doing well on their exams and mock exams, I’m so proud of them all.

Honorary mentions to Isabella and Liv who are as both a little younger but have natural skills to be able to keep up with the older club members.

Finally, (and I will put this in this weeks newsletter), thank for the support. It has been a dream and a pleasure to be able to not only teach photography skills but also have a safe place for all members. I feel very humbled that you chose The Click to brings your kids.

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to pop in here to say thank you for your support over the last year.

More photography groups have been created and new faces have passed through our doors.

I am taking the summer off starting from Friday 24th July and a new term will start on week commencing Monday 7th September.

During the summer I will be making session plans for the next few terms, organising projects and looking at our timetable.

All photography clubs will be remaining the same.

Connect formally Teen Talks might be cancelled, I’d hoped for a free social networking group but it hasn’t taken off in the last year like I hoped it would.

I will be looking again at more photography clubs as well as creative writing and film club.

Keep an eye out over the summer for more details .

At The Click Photography, our older photography groups now include a weekly 10-minute photographer profile, exploring the work of influential artists such as Man Ray, Ansel Adams and many more.

As well as supporting GCSE and A-Level students with the photographers they need to study, these sessions encourage young photographers to slow down, observe carefully, and appreciate the details, light and changes that make photography so powerful.

In a fast-moving digital world, we believe photography should be more than just taking pictures — it should be a creative way to see and enjoy the world around you.

📸 Teen Content Creation Day – Saturday 18th July 📸

🕒 Time: 3:00pm – 4:00pm

We’re looking for teenagers to take part in a fun content creation session at our studio!

We’ll be capturing a variety of posed lifestyle photographs featuring teens taking part in different activities. The images will be used across our social media channels and other promotional marketing.

In return, each participating teen will receive a FREE studio photoshoot to use anytime within the next 12 months. 📷

We’re looking for:
✨ Teens aged 13–17 who are comfortable in front of the camera
✨ Parent/guardian consent
✨ Teen consent for the images to be used on our social media and marketing materials

The session will be relaxed, fun, and fully guided—no modelling experience is needed.

Photography show case. These are some of the fantastic photos that have been bought to me by my wonderful photography club members. These are a mix and I will be more on top of sharing individuals and separate club images in the future to show everyone how far they are coming with their skills and photography eye.

As part of our community side of The Click we have a session on Tuesdays 6.00pm-7.30pm called Connect.

This is aimed at teenagers who may find it difficult to engage with their peers.

For those that might feel overwhelmed or lonely or even if they just want another place to have to meet up in a casual way.

With a DBS and safeguarding trained adult mentor available to help start activities, chats or just someone talk to.

No clubs, no lessons. We talk about books we’ve read, do crafts, play games, have chats about life and what’s happening in the world. Bring homework, Lego, musical instrument, colouring, whatever you want to do to just relax.

Those that attend don’t have to chat they can come along and just be in a safe space.

As well as the Tuesday hang out at the studio we want to start weekend walks once a month to walk and talk.

Also, I just realise that I can call it Click and Connect. I should trademark this.
