Taking full advantage of the current FREE parking, I had a morning at Chatsworth House. It's a bit chaotic at the minute as there are some road works and it's a bit of a detour to get in and out of the park. The only way out is via the "Golden Gates" end in Baslow.

Just a reminder that the wonderful gardens at Hopton Hall are open for the whole of the month of February. Even though we still have this prolonged spell of really wet weather, the Snowdrop Walk is looking especially good this year.
For me, this is one of the best value places to visit in Derbyshire.
