🎭 COMPANY – St. Paul’s Players Adlington
What a performance!
We had the pleasure of photographing the dress rehearsal for St. Paul's Players- Adlington and their latest production, the brilliant musical COMPANY — and what a production they have put together!
This is a show we have never seen or photographed before, but from the moment the cast took to the stage, we were completely drawn into the story. The whole production is packed with fantastic performances from many who have appeared in previous shows on our local theatre stage at Adlington Community Centre, with wonderful singing and plenty of energy.
A special mention has to go to Chris Bailey, who takes on the lead role of Bobby. Chris was truly outstanding. He absolutely owns the stage whenever he is performing, whether he is working alongside the rest of the cast as the story unfolds or stepping forward for his beautiful solo numbers. His performance really is something special and was one of the highlights of the evening. 👏🎶
There is also a lovely piece of St. Paul’s Players history behind this production. COMPANY is directed by Harry Cohen, who has been a member of St. Paul’s for many years and is taking on this major production as director for them. Harry is following in the footsteps of his father, Graham Cohen, who has directed many productions for St. Paul’s over the years — and Graham is also appearing in the cast of COMPANY!
It’s wonderful to see that tradition continuing into another generation, and Harry has certainly put his own stamp on what is a fantastic production.
COMPANY opens tonight, Wednesday 9th September, and runs nightly through to Saturday 12th September at Adlington Community Centre.
