As Jack & Jen walked away from the drone up the long driveway towards Stonyhurst College, it slowly rose skywards behind them, revealing the magnificent Ribble Valley surrounding them.

It’s one of the things we love about filming weddings in this part of Lancashire. Sometimes all you need to do is look up to see just how incredible the surroundings are. 🤍

Chin up and walk slowly.

Natalie walking down the aisle at Ashfield House, one of those moments where everything suddenly feels very real. The room is watching, the music is playing, and after months of planning, this is the moment you have been waiting for.

Our advice to every bride is simple. Chin up, take your time, and enjoy it. There is no need to rush towards the person you are about to marry. Let yourself take in the room, the faces, the atmosphere, and the moment.

And from our side, it gives us the time to capture all those little reactions along the way, from the groom waiting at the front to the people wiping away a tear in the audience.

Your wedding day only happens once. Take your time and enjoy every second.

A little confetti goes a long way.

Beth and James at Eaves Hall, captured in slow motion as they walked back from the ceremony and stopped for a kiss in the middle of the confetti. One of those simple moments that looks incredible when you slow everything down and let the emotion breathe.

Top tip if you are planning your confetti. Go big and go white. Larger pieces of white confetti stand out beautifully on camera, especially when captured in slow motion, and give you that lovely cinematic feel as they move through the frame.

A little thought beforehand can make a huge difference to how your wedding film looks.

Some wedding moments are even more special when they become family traditions.

Jessica and Joshua at Merrydale Manor, capturing the moment Jessica revealed her wedding dress to her sister and bridesmaids. The excitement, the reactions, and that wonderful feeling of sharing such a huge moment with the people closest to you.

We are incredibly lucky that we often get invited back to film other family members’ weddings. For us, that is one of the biggest compliments we can receive. It means we have not only created a film that people love, but we have become part of the family celebrations along the way.

We are already looking forward to being back with the family in 2028 to film Jessica’s sister’s wedding. We cannot wait.

🌸 Flower Man kicked off the ceremony with a few laughs
🎤 Martyn & his brother turned the speeches into a full-blown concert, rewriting some well-known classics in their own very questionable style
