Hey everyone 👋
I owe a huge apology for being so absent in the last few months.
Whilst im still working, and attending weddings ive just been a lot quieter on socials!
At the back end of last year in september/October, we were presented with my mother being poorly very sudden, she was diagnosed with stage 4 glioma brain tumour which she didnt have left long to survive. 5/6 weeks and unfortunately we lost her, which hit me very hard. As most suppliers know, mum came to very much everything with me, wedding fayres meetings etc. Mum was very dedicated to me doing photography.
Obviously this hit me very hard and attending work as normal was very difficult and I do struggle to open up the laptop from time to time.
Mum would sit up and wait to hear all the crack, banter and to see the previews from the wedding. Mum was actually the reason im doing photography and 14 years later we are still here!
After her passing i had a wedding booked in, 6 days after she unfortunately left us. I had to do this wedding. There was no doubt it about it.
1. Because I am dedicated to my work
2. Mum would have slaughtered me if I didnt go!
3. When being self employed it isnt just as easy to take a day off work.
4. I had to do this to make Mum proud.
5. Mum was so exited to see a new venue and the photos, unfortunately she didnt make it. But the photos were amazing! K I N M O U N T H O U S E
As a conclusion, I lost my mum very unexpected, and ive been distant on socials and its resulted in a very quiet 2027. So if you know anyone at all, getting married tell them to give me a call, happy to have a chat and discuss wedding plans!
Please dont forget about me just because ive had a rough few months!
