After the ceremony and before the party, Victoria and Niall slipped out for a short wander. Jacket off, no guests, just the two of them along Ullswater with the fells behind them.

One of those frames that doesn’t need much. They were completely relaxed and the setting did the rest.

A few smartly dressed lads, one small dog, a ridiculous Lake District backdrop, and reflections doing their best to make everyone look twice as important.
Gemma & Jake’s wedding at the Inn on the Lake was one of those days where everything just had a lovely feel to it.

Great people, plenty going on, and Ullswater quietly showing off in the background. As it does.
Also, full respect to the dog for holding the group together.

A short little off-site wander with Victoria & Niall.

Sometimes it’s less about going miles for photos and more about giving two people ten minutes to breathe, have a laugh and remember they’ve actually just got married.

The formal bits were done, the party was waiting, and these two were just brilliant company from start to finish.

Nothing too serious. Nothing too posed. Just a bit of Lake District air and a couple having a proper good day.

Mega day. Loved this one.

Hayley & Glen at Inn on the Lake. 😍

Confetti in the air, Ullswater looking ridiculous in the background, and Spencer Moran fully committing to the moment.

I mean, there are worse ways to start married life than being surrounded by your favourite people, sunshine, mountains and a saxophonist in a blue jacket bringing absolute main character energy. 🎷

This was one of those proper feel-good wedding moments. Loads of laughing, a bit of chaos, everyone joining in and Hayley & Glen right in the middle of it all, looking like they were having the best time.

Saxophone, confetti and Lake District views. Not a bad little combo really.

Absolutely loved this one.

Lucy & David at Holbeck Ghyll, a proper little Lake District gem tucked away above Windermere.

The day started with a very familiar Cumbrian sky. A bit grey, a bit moody, making everyone pretend they weren’t checking the weather app every four minutes. Then, right on cue for the ceremony, the sun came out and made us all look like we’d planned it.

We even had two Typhoon jets fly past during the ceremony, which is a fairly strong commitment to guest entertainment.

Genuinely lovely people, a brilliant crowd, a dog with better wedding manners than most humans, and just an absolute pleasure to spend time with. We even managed to sneak off for a few landscape pictures later on, because when you’re overlooking Windermere it would be a bit rude not to.

Lucy & David, thank you so much for having me along. Mega day.

Sarah & Andy at Low Hall The Lakes ✨

Storm Dave had clearly seen the wedding timeline and decided to add himself to the supplier list.

Thankfully, Sarah & Andy were having absolutely none of it. A bit of wind, a bit of weather drama, and still all smiles walking out in front of that lovely little cottage at Low Hall.

I love this frame. The red door, Andy’s suit, Sarah’s dress, those flowers, and the two of them looking properly happy before the weather fully committed to being ridiculous.

A brilliant day with brilliant people, and a very strong reminder that Lake District weddings do occasionally come with their own special effects department.

Huge congratulations Sarah & Andy. What a fantastic day. ❤️

All the formal bits were done.

Ceremony finished, confetti thrown, speeches survived, food eaten, and then Victoria & Niall decided it was time to properly get things going.

This pretty much sums up the mood of the day. Brilliant people, loads of laughter, a proper party atmosphere and two people absolutely making the most of every minute.

What a mega day this was.

A little bit of rain during the ceremony, but absolutely nothing was going to put these two off. If anything, it added to the atmosphere. Umbrellas up, smiles everywhere, confetti flying and a proper lively party vibe from start to finish.

Amazing people, loads of energy and one of those weddings that was just an absolute joy to be part of.

A little pre-wedding calm before the wonderful chaos of the wedding day.

I spent some time with Beth and Josh a few weeks ago around Buttermere for their pre-wedding shoot, wandering through the bluebells, catching the evening light and getting to know them a little before today.

Their wedding is today at the amazing New House Farm in the Lorton Valley, which is always a very special place to photograph. New House Farm

Really looking forward to spending the day with them both, capturing all the moments, the people, the laughter and probably a bit of lovely Cumbrian unpredictability along the way.

Sharna & Luke’s lovely elopement wedding at Storrs Hall. 😍

Just the two of them, a beautiful Lake District venue and the usual bit of Cumbrian weather doing its best to join in as an extra guest. Damp, breezy, and not exactly Mediterranean, but still a really lovely day with a cracking couple. 😀

Storrs Hall is such a fantastic setting for a small wedding, especially with the lake, the gardens and all those gorgeous indoor spaces when the weather decides to have a little moment.

A huge congratulations to Sharna and Luke. Wishing you both all the very best for your future together. ❤️
