I’ve only made in into the hide for a few hours over the past month, works been busy. I haven’t been able to keep on top of it as much as I need to and as such birds visit less.
Molting season also adds to the issues, but hopefully come winter when food gets sparse, I’ll get lots of visitors back.

Hey 👋 sorry about the lack of activity, but works been busy, the weathers been crap so we’ve just been getting stuck into the boring routine.
We had some photos taken last month at BartleyStudios in Warrington and they run a monthly competition for the best image.

After being separated for the last week, Nala is now tollerating Kuma and he’s not been a pest so we made the most of a nice day (we won’t see too many more before winter) and had a family dog walk to Luds church.
Now the dogs are a bit bigger we can do more walks/hikes like these 😃

Since the baby Jays fledged around 4 weeks a go, all included both adults have disappeared. I do hear them in the surrounding woods but when the food is abundant they are enjoying it, hopefully we will see them back over winter.
I’ve not had much time to get in the hide with work, but luckily I’ve got loads of unshared photos in albums on my phone so I best get through them 👀

Can’t believe these photos were taken on the 1st of August. Time is going so quickly, not far off autumn 👀
I went out most nights when away in Yorkshire, and this was probably the best offering of all of them.
Even on the days when it fizzled out it was great to watch the distance barn owls and hare in the fields

Wow, how quickly time goes, i started this page, sharing photos from my camera phone on dog walks.
Now im Celebrating my 4th year on Facebook.
In the time I’ve been on here I’ve learnt how to use a DSLR then moved up to a mirrorless camera.
As frustrating as Facebook is to progress with at the moment I’m still here.
Thank you for your continuing support. I might not have ever had the push to buy a ‘proper’ camera and could never have made it without this far without you all 🙏🤗🎉

I’ve been out for a lot of sunsets over the last 2 weeks, most not as good as I wanted…but I’ve seen a lot hares, mostly at a good distance until yesterday.
This one sat still long enough to capture a couple of images, and after not seeing rabbits around for a few years the fields are starting to get more back in 🐇 🐰
Got a very brief photo of a fox running across a field a couple of nights ago which totally caught me off guard

So last night, straight as the eclipse finished I had to rush to the pub to play pool, so I didn’t have much time to sort this. And I was struggiling to find a way to display all the images on one page.
With help from ChatGPT this morning, here are all the images I took (minus a couple so they all fit nicely) on one image.
You need to click on the image to view them all.
This works for me, and I’m sure the kids will appreciate a printed version for their wall ☀️ 🌙
