Stupidly you can’t add 2 videos together on Facebook 🤨 so here’s both videos mixed together.

Great day at Oulton Park today for the Supercar Pageant 🚘 amazing weather with the sun shining for the majority of the day.

Yesterday I came downstairs to see what I thought was a juvenile jay on the feeders. To my delight it was, joined by its parent struggling to get peanuts out of a feeder.
I’ve been saving some acorns for if they came back, so a quick modification and we’vd now got an acorn bucket.
I popped into the hide, but unfortunately spooked the jay when it came back moving too quickly in excitement, I’ll leave them to feed for a few days before I try again.
This magpie was more obliging and enjoyed the treat

I’ve been seeing the juvenile woodpecker and its parent feeding in the back garden hide recently, but not been in the hide at the time.
Thd crows woke me up at the crack of dawn this morning so I was in the hide by 6.30am and in a couple of hours, the juvenile came down to feed on its own 3 times 🐦
Always hoped I’d get these landing at home 😃

Facebook has become a bit of a nightmare recently, not allowing followers to see posts with having to tag followers, no natural traffic and no chance of new people seeing your page.
For anyone who’s got TikTok, give me a like over there, it might have to become the preferred platform for posting on.

An hour or so feeding the ducks at Redesmere, trying to concentrate on the barn swallows and house Martins drinking from the water and catching flys, but they were just a bit to far away to get better shots. It’s all a learning curve 🐦

Which would be amazing if they let you have any natural traffic, they’ve removed the tag so you can’t even show people if they haven’t seen a post.

This is an album of photos that I took on the bank holiday weekend a few weekends ago, on the way home we called to the other side of the Lune estuary to a bay with Plover Scar Lighthouse and Cockersand Abbey.
It was 9am and already 18° with an estimated 30° by midday so a quick walk with the dogs before getting them home to stay cool.
We couldn’t get to the abbey as the field was full of young inquisitive cows, and that’s a nope from me especially with 2 boisterous puppy’s
